64 JMU Rugby alumni made a gift, and by passing the 50-donor mark you unlocked an additional $25,000 in matching funds toward the Hank Mozingo Captain's Scholarship. The fund now stands at $59,713 raised toward a $100,000 endowment goal, 60% of the way to permanently endowing the scholarship.

The funds raised so far are already enough to award a scholarship for the 2026-2027 school year. Reaching $100,000 endows it for good, funding an award every year, forever.

The next match is within reach. Hit 100 donors and the John Carr Memorial Rugby Fund adds another $10,000. We are at 64 individual donors, so just 36 more gifts of any size unlocks it.
