Luis De Souza Pinto '02 Memorial Scholarship

Luis De Souza Pinto came to JMU from Brazil in 1998 and found his home here, on the rugby pitch and everywhere around it. He captained the club and set the standard for what it meant to be part of it. When he passed away in 2004, the alumni built this scholarship in his memory, raising the founding $25,000 in four months. Fully funded and endowed, it keeps his name part of JMU Rugby for good.
