Hank Mozingo Captain's Scholarship

Named for Henry "Hank" Carlton Mozingo, JMU Rugby team captain in 1988 and 1989. Established by family, friends and rugby alumni after his passing in August 2025, and awarded annually to a member of the JMU Men's Rugby Club who exemplifies humility, perseverance, high character, and commitment to teammates and community.

Luis De Souza Pinto '02 Memorial Scholarship

Named for a Madison Rugby captain from Brazil who made JMU his home. Alumni raised the founding $25,000 within four months of his passing in 2004, five years ahead of the timeline they had been given. The scholarship is fully funded, endowed and permanent.
