Home and Ranked: Dukes Host No. 14 West Chester

October 8, 2026

JMU Men's Rugby Club is back home at John Carr Field on Saturday, hosting West Chester in the Dukes' biggest test of the season. Kickoff is noon, with the B-side to follow.

A ranked test

West Chester comes in undefeated and ranked number 14 in the country, the highest-ranked team in the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference. For a JMU team riding three straight wins, it is a measuring stick, a chance to see how the Dukes stack up against one of D1AA's best. You can see where every conference side sits in the latest D1AA national rankings.

Back at John Carr Field

After back-to-back road wins at Rutgers and Pittsburgh, the Dukes are home again. JMU has not played at John Carr Field since the 60-12 home-opener win over Rowan, and a big home crowd matters against an opponent this good. If you are in Harrisonburg, come out and back the Dukes.
